Rowena and His wife Jolie have been married for 13 years and have three beautiful children. They live in Edmonton, Alberta where they are church planters and are currently pastoring Kingdom Minded Church. Vedaste’s passion for seeing the expansion of God's kingdom led him to found CAM in 2009. Vedaste desires to introduce many to the saving grace of God wherever he goes.

Raymond works as a full-time missionary in Ottawa, ON. Invited to visit Uganda in 2009, he was led by the Spirit to co-found  A Cup for Africa Mission with Rwema. Raymond has a heart and passion for serving the poor children of our world.

Connie joined CAM as a volunteer in 2012 helping out with administrative duties, financial and bookkeeping tasks, and acted as an advisor to the board until 2018 when she joined as a board member. She has been a long-time sponsor and has visited the CAM projects in Uganda many times.

Nikki joined CAM in March 2020 as Administrative Coordinator.  She is native to Louisiana, wife to Bryan and mother to their three young children.  Nikki also serves on the leadership team for Open Door Community Church.

Patrick joined CAM in 2016 as a board member. His family has been sponsoring children for many years. Patrick’s passion to serve was fuelled after a month-long trip to Africa with his wife Elaine in 2014, where they met their three sponsored children.

Dennis has been in ministry for more than 30 years. Dennis also works as a chaplain for the Royal Canadian Navy Reserves, Market Place Chaplains, and is the Chaplain for the Corp of Commissionaires. Dennis has been married for 33 years and has three children and four grandchildren.

I am the lead pastor at Open Door Community Church. My family and I moved to the Edmonton area 5 years ago to help Open Door. I am mission minded and love the work that CAM is doing. I also am very technical minded and can help CAM with many different projects. 

I really have a heart for missions and people. Uganda and A Cup for Africa hold a very special place in my heart. I would love to lead teams to Uganda on future mission trips as well as coordinate events to help raise funds and expand our sponsorship program.
